Yes the gap is getting bigger,but that dose not mean sony will stop making the ps3.People who think that the ps3 will end up like dreamcast are stupid.Sony is bigger than sega and sony is more than the playstation.Even tho they use all the profit on the ps2 for the ps3(which can never happen) they will still have money coming in from, music,cds.movies,phones,laptop s ....e.t.c.So they can never go bankrupt like %90 of blogers think.
So ms was not talking bs when they said they have a 8mill lead.Any way we all know the head start is major factor but u have to admit the sony should have handled the ps3 launch better, if they brought out the ps3 with a good price and more games at launch then i think it would have sold alot more than it did.I still think the 360 will finish 2nd this gen but i have a feeling it will be close,i wonder what the hell are all those ps2 owners waiting for.Iknow the ps3 is till a bit expensive but...
Hate it or love it the wii is winning this gen followed by the 360 and the ps3....Ps3 fan boys should just accpet it, every winner must lose some day.Sony won the last two gen but if this keep going like this i dont think they can make it 3in a row.Say what u want about the 360 having a head start,price...or what ever excuse u can think of,the fact is they got it spot on this time around and tought of games first not having the next gen dvd player in there console.

Omega7 as much as i love killzone 2 no game can kill a console.That was said about mgs4,lbp...e.t.c but at the end the 360 still held its own and kept selling very well.But since i know ur just another lame fan boy that use the words bos..e.t.c. im sure i wasted my time responding to u.

I dnt mean to be flame bait but it think people that were saying resistance 2 will challange gears2 got owned in both sells and the quality of the game.I have both consoles and i like gears2 more than resistance 2, i did not even bother to finish resistance 2 bcuz it got boring.The only Fps i am getting this year is Killzone 2.
